News Prose was founded in Spring 2002 by Mike Van Meter, a journalist, consultant and teacher with more than two decades of professional experience. In an age of media convergence, his skills have crossed a broad spectrum of technologies from the darkroom to digital sound.
Mike's goal is to provide his clients with a product that reflects excellence borne of experience, skill and dedication to the craft. Story topics of particular interest include agriculture, the environment, land use, education and the effects of growth on central Oregon.
